It has been two years...Two years since Konohagakure's forces fell to Orochimaru after Tsunade, Jiraiya and co. were defeated by the Otogakure leader: Orochimaru. As well as his loyal apprentice, Kabuto.
With the battle of the three legendary Sannin closed shut by Orochimaru defeating his former team mates, the two decided to spare Tsunade & Jiraiya's lives in one condition. They admitted defeat at the hands of the Sound Village and joined their alliance. With shame and their head's hung low, they agreed. Now Orochimaru summoned up his army to finally invade, with no intentions of retreating this time. With the council being brutally murdered and Konohagakure subdued under the vast forces of Orochimaru's experimental army, the five nation's shuddered.
With the mighty Jiraiya and Tsunade serving as Orochimaru's left and right hand men, being trained and molded to their lord's expectations, some villagers gave in also. There is a small chance however that resistance can turn the tides. Sakura, Naruto and Gaara are leading a special unit in which to counter this nightmare and convert those brainwashed by Orochimaru's training back to the right side. Is it to late? What is Akatsuki doing behind the scenes? With the Five Nations under siege, will Orochimaru conquer all and achieve his dream of learning every jutsu? With his latest apprentice, Uchiha Sasuke, in the molding process. Will there ever be freedom? Will Naruto and Sasuke ever fight on the same side again?
ProudInvasion is a roleplay set two years after the Legendary Sannin battle between Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Shizune and Naruto. Finding the energy to escape, Naruto leaves and undergoes training under various teachers until he forms a rebellion against Orochimaru. Though small in numbers, they hope to exceed. Choose your side! Which Naruto character will stay on the side of Orochimaru or fight for their freedom once more? You decide!
